JADE says university students typically get JADE Professional free. Register at jade.io with your university email to check.

The UNSW library pages we read don't say how to get it, so JADE is the one to ask.

How to get in at UNSW

  1. Open it from your library

    Start from the library's own link: the buttons on these pages, or the library's database list. Library links are set up for your university's sign-in.

  2. Sign in as a student

    Use your university account when the database asks. Some sign-in screens ask for your institution first: for Westlaw AU, ANU's Law Library says to choose Access through Australian academic institutions at the bottom of the screen.

AI research tools

Some law schools now license generative AI research tools. We found no public statement naming one for UNSW law students.

We read each school's public library pages, and the public announcements named on each page, on 13 October 2026. We only list what those pages say. Libraries change what they license, often at the start of a year or semester, so the library's own page always wins over this one.
