Yes. The basic citation check will not move behind a paywall. If the monthly allowance changes, this page will show the change and the date it applies.

Why are paid plans paused?

The citation check is still in beta, and we want it working well for everyone before we sell anything else. So new paid plans are paused, and there is nothing to buy.

I already pay for a plan. What changes?

Nothing. Your plan, renewals and cancellation work as before in account billing. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period with no exit fee, and you keep everything you have saved.

Can I check a whole thesis?

Yes, a chapter at a time. Each check takes up to 200,000 characters, and each chapter counts as one draft.

Does my account close when I graduate?

No. A free account stays open until you delete it, during your degree and after it.

How the 3 drafts are counted

Each calendar month, Sydney time, a free account can check 3 different drafts. Here is one month, worked through.

Counts as a draft: A check of new text that finds at least one case citation. Change the text, even one footnote, and it is a new draft.
Doesn't count: Checking exactly the same text again. A draft with no case citations. A check that fails on our side before it looks up a case.
After your third draft: Checks you saved stay in your account. You can check a new draft from the first day of next month, Sydney time.

If you don't save a check, we keep only a one-way fingerprint of the draft to count your drafts, not the text. Where your draft goes
