Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly: your email address when you create an account, your firm or university when you choose to share it, and usage data about how you interact with CaseSharp. Usage data includes the searches you run, the authorities you save, and the research briefs you create. We do this to make the product work for you and to improve it over time.

We use your information to provide and improve CaseSharp, communicate with you about the service, respond to your enquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use your research queries or saved authorities to train AI models.

CaseSharp runs on Australian infrastructure. The databases, file storage, and application servers that hold your account data and research history are located in Sydney. Your data does not leave Australia for storage.

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request that we delete it. Confirmed deletion is completed within 30 days of a written request. You can also request that we stop sending you marketing communications at any time.

We will assess any suspected eligible data breach within 30 days and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and affected individuals as soon as practicable, in accordance with Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
